Registration system wiil be open on May 1, 2018!

All participants are required to register prior to the conference and submit the proposal and full paper via the on-line registration and paper submission system. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact us at info@wals2018.com.

September 10 - October 31, 2018 (BJT; GMT+8)

* Early Bird and Regular Registration cover a guaranteed Conference Program Book.

Registration Fee

In WALS International Conference, there are three types of participants: regular participants, students, and 10-year WALS members. For each type of local and international participants' registration fee, please check the tables below.

1. "Local participants" refer to those who are working or studying in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan or Macau.
2. Registration fees include conference kits, refreshment, and lunch.

3. WALS one-year membership fee (commencing 1st January 2019 or the end of current membership) is included in registration fee. Those with memberships expiring before 31 December 2018 need to pay the full conference fee (above).

4. Student registrants need to also provide proof of their status by bringing their student cards (or picture of card) incl. name, affiliation and expiration date to the venue, otherwise we will charge for the price gap between regular and student registration.

5. 10-year members must be checked at registration form. What is 10-year member ?

Social Function

Conference Dinner: 300 RMB or 45 USD.

School Visit

We are still working on the school visit plan. Please pay attention to our social media like Twitter, Facebook and Weibo.

After Online Registration

After your payment, you will receive a confirmation email to the address you register on our online system. Please keep this email as a proof of your registration. If you do not receive such a confirmation email within 1 hour, you may register unsuccessfully and please email us (info@wals2018.com). We suggest you to print this confirmation email or take the screenshot, and present it at the reception the day you come for in-site registration.
