Brief Introduction

Welcome to Beijing! After you get off the transport, you would like to find a convenient route to reach BNU. Please note that self-driving is not recommended because we provide no place for parking. In order to successfully reach the destination, it is better for you to know some basic information about the following places:

Beijing Normal University (final destination)

Address: Beijing Normal University, #19 XinJieKouWai Street, Haidian District, Beijing, 100875.

* The pictures below respectively show the east gate, south gate, library building and Jingshi Hotel, which are all landmarks of BNU. 

 
 

Beijing Capital International Airport (where your are now)

The Capital International Airport (“Capital Airport”) is Beijing’s main international airport. It is located in the northeast corner of Beijing City (Shunyi District) and is situated approximately 34 kilometers away from BNU campus. The facilities are ultra-modern and it is considered one of the world’s largest international airports.

Some main railway stations (where you are now)

Beijing Railway Station (北京站)

Beijing Railway Station is located in Dongcheng District, within the Second Ring Road, just to the west of Jianguomen and Dongbianmen, between Chongwenmen and Dongbianmen, north of the original Beijing Inner Wall, and south of Dongchang’an Street.

Beijing South Railway Station (北京南站)

Beijing South Railway Station is located in Chongwen District on Yongdingmenwai Chenzhan Road. 

Beijing West Railway Station (北京西站)

Beijing West Railway Station is located in the Fengtai District, Lianhua Chi Road.

Take a taxi directly

Warm tips
(1) Take a metered taxi.
(2) take a photo of your hotel name in Mandarin (listed under ‘hotels’), as many taxi drivers do not speak English.
Taxi stands
located on the basement floor of Capital International Airport. ask relevant staff for help, if can’t find the taxi stands.

Take the airport express railway

Route1
1) Take the airport express railway to Sanyuanqiao stop.
2) Then Change metro lines to Line 10.
3) Follow Line 10 to Mudanyuan stop.
4) Then go through the Southwest Exit to Mudanyuan bus stop (around 30 meters ahead).
5) From there, take Bus No. 645, 22, or 38 directly to Tieshizifen. This station is located near the East gate of BNU
Route2
1) Take the high speed metro airport rail to Dongzhimen stop.
2) Then Change metro lines to Line 2
3) Follow Line 2 to Jishuitan stop.
4) Then go through the Northwest Exit A to jishuitan qiaonan  bus stop (around 280 meters ahead).
5) From there, take Bus No.22, 47or 88 directly to Tieshizifen. This station is located near the East gate of BNU

Warm tips
1) The way to take the high speed metro airport rail, please follow the instruction of signs. If you have any problems, you can ask the staff for help.
2) Please pay attention to the schedule of the high speed metro airport rail: Dongzhimen Station: 6: 00-22: 30;
                   T3 Terminal: 6:21-22:51;
                   T2 Terminal: 6:35-23:10.

Take an airport bus

Route
1) Take the airport bus No. 4 to Madianqiaodong bus stop
2) From there, take Bus No.104 directly to Tieshizifen. This station is located near the East gate of BNU

Around 27 RMB in total

Bus stands

Warm tips
1) Please pay attention to the schedule of the airport bus No.4: the first bus at 6:50AM, the last bus at the next day 0:00AM.

Transportation from some railway stations to BNU

Beijing Railway Station

Route 1
1) Exit Beijing Railway Station, transfer directly to the No. 2 metro line, towards the outer ring, to the Jishuitan stop.
2) Then go through the Northwest Exit A to jishuitan qiaonan bus stop (around 280 meters ahead).
3) From there, take Bus No.22, 47or 88 directly to Tieshizifen. This station is located near the East gate of BNU.
Time :
Take less than 1 hour depending upon traffic.
Fare:
Around 6 RMB
Route 2
Take a taxi directly to the school.
Time:
Take less than 1 hour depending upon traffic.
Fare:
Around 50 RMB

It is best for you to take a subway to BNU for the traffic jams.

Beijing South Railway Station

Route 1

1) Exit Beijing South Railway Station, broad the No. 4 metro line in the northerly direction toward Anheqiao, and get off at Xuanwumen stop.

2) In the same stop, transfer directly to the No. 2 metro line to the Jishuitan stop.

3) Then go through the Northwest Exit A to jishuitan qiaonan  bus stop (around 280 meters ahead).

4) From there, take Bus No.22, 47or 88 directly to Tieshizifen. This station is located near the East gate of BNU.

Time:

Take less than 1 hour depending upon traffic

Fare:

Around 6 RMB

Route 2

Take a taxi directly to the school.

Time:

Take less than 1 hour depending upon traffic

Fare:

Around  60 RMB

Beijing West Railway Station

Route 1
1) After disembarking, board the No.9 metro line to get off the National Library stop.
2) In the same stop, transfer directly to the No. 2 metro line to the Jishuitan stop.
3) Then go through the Northwest Exit A to jishuitan qiaonan  bus stop (around 280 meters ahead).
4) From there, take Bus No.22, 47or 88 directly to Tieshizifen. This station is located near the East gate of BNU.
Time:
Take less than 1 hour depending upon traffic
Fare:
Around 6 RMB
Route 2
Take a taxi directly to the school.
Time:
Take more than 30 minutes depending upon traffic
Fare:
Around  40 RMB.
