Pre-school - Tadika Tunas UKM

Tadika Tunas UKM was established around 1980 which was then known as Taman Siswa Muda, the Care Division is run by the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities (FSSK) while the Pre-school Division is run by the Faculty of Education. In 1999 UKM Holdings took over and changed its name to UKM Child Care Center. Starting in 2009, UKM kindergarten was handed back to the Faculty of Education UKM under the name Tadika Tunas UKM. Tadika Tunas UKM offers early education programs for children aged 4, 5 and 6 years. The operation of Tadika Tunas UKM is based on the National Preschool Standard Curriculum (KSPK) and subject to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) where Tadika Tunas UKM has been registered under the Education Act 1961-Education Rules (Kindergarten and Childcare) (Registration) 1972 on 13 December 2018 with Reference: PPDHL.UPPS 600-9/1/7/480 and Certificate Number: B5A4534. Now in 2022, Tadika Tunas UKM has a total of 120 students where there are 2 classes of students aged 4, 2 classes of students aged 5 and 2 classes of students aged 6. The total capacity of students in each class is 20 students. While the number of staff is 15 people.

Primary school - Sek Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 5(1)

Established since 2013, Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 5(1) is a primary National School, located in Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya. In 2022, the pupils’ enrollment is 2066 with 128 teachers.

Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Precinct 5(1) is led by Mr Zulkiple bin Hussein as the headmaster, and it is one of the schools for the School Transformation Programme 2025 (TS25). This school is also actively engaged in curriculum, co-curriculum, and co-academics activities. Lots of victories have been achieved at the school, state, national, and worldwide levels. Mr Zulkiple, the Headmaster, sets a strong emphasis on the pupils’ well-being and the principles of Sekolahku SEJAHTERA are included into every school activity.

Secondary school - Sek Menengah Kebangsaan Dato Shahardin Labu

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato’ Shahardin is a rural school in Labu, Negeri Sembilan. The school, which is surrounded by greenery of oil palm trees, has 53 teachers and 629 students. Against the background of almost 47.7 % of students from low-income families, this school caters to the learning of students from special needs students to Form 5 students. SMKDS with the slogan Sekolah Hebat is led by Puan Norhayati binti Md Darus. As a TS25 Cohort 1 school, SMKDS has made PAK21 as the core in improving the quality of teachers and students in order to realize quality education, educated people and a prosperous country.

pra- university - Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor

The Malaysian Matriculation Programme is a one-year pre-university preparatory programme offered by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia. Every leaver from matriculation programme will receive a certificate which is “Sijil Matrikulasi Malaysia KPM” which is certified and recognized by every public university in Malaysia and overseas such as United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. There are seventeen matriculation colleges in Malaysia, and Selangor Matriculation College (KMS) are one of them.

KMS first intake students were in May 2010 for academic session 2010-2011.  The fascilities in KMS are able to support maximum 3000 students at one time. The teaching and learning process are carried out smoothly with three different mode: lecture, tutorial and practical. The six lecture halls are fully equipped with LCD, screen and  sound systems that allow 150-250 students in every lecture hall. There are 52 tutorial rooms for smaller groups of students to carry out tutorial class. For science students, there are 18 science labs for physics, chemistry and biology. While for the computer science students, there are 7 computer labs complete with internet. For the whole campus, wifi are provided especially in cafes, library and tutorial rooms area. KMS also have 3 language labs for all the students for their English classes.

Indigenous School - Sek Kebangsaan Bukit Tampoi (A)

Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tampoi (A)  was established on the 1st September 1960 in Dengkil, Selangor. In 2020, the school community comprises 4 school administrators, 17 teachers, 4 support staff and 138 pupils. The school upholds the vision “Quality education, educated individual, prosperous nation” and its mission is to build a school that excels in a sustainable and quality education system to develop the potential of an individual to fulfill the nation’s aspiration based on the motto “Knowledgeable Contribution’.

 

The client’s charter for the school is to demonstrate continuous and responsive attitude to the pupils’, parents’ and government’s needs as well as manage work efficiently and competently. Apart from that, the school demonstrates deep involvement in developing a pupil’s personality and produces pupils who are disciplined, dedicated and loving, as well as reestablish and maintain the school’s glory.

Special Education - Sek Menengah Pendidikan Khas Vokasional Shah Alam

Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas Vokasional Shah Alam (SMPKVSA) is among one of four other vocational special education school which is under the administration of Special Education Department, Ministry of Education. SMPKVSA was established on 5 January 1987, which was temporarily located in Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. SMPKVSA is a boarding school caters to Form 4 and Form 5 students with hearing impairment from all over the country.

On the 1 February 1988, SMPKVSA was relocated to its own premise at Jalan Senangin 17/2, Seksyen 17, Shah Alam Selangor. The opening ceremony of this school was graced by YB Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak on 15 November 1996. SMPKVSA was upgraded and known as an A Grade school on 1st March 1993 and selected as a Responsibility Center on 1 January 1998. The school started receiving students with learning disabilities starting from 2009. In addition, SMPKVSA was also approved by the Department of Skill Development (JPK), Ministry of Human Resource as Accredited Centre for 9 vocational courses held in the school.

Few of the courses that are offered in SMPKVSA are Batik Productional Operation (SS-100-3:2013), Graphic Design (PR-024-2:2012), Single Phase Electric (EE-320-2:2012),Furniture Production Operation (RB-050-2:2012), Motorcycle Making and Servicing (G454-001-1:2018), Food Production and Preparation (HT-012-2:2012), Ladies Dress Making (TA-001-1:2012), Hair Dressing (HT-090-2:2012) and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning – Single Phase (Fixing, Servicing, Troubleshooting & Repairing (ME-020-2:2012). Currently there are 184 students in this school with 89 Form 4 students and 95 students in Form 5 together with 94 teachers and 25 members of government employees.

Gifted school - Kolej GENIUS@Pintar Negara UKM

Pusat GENIUS@Pintar Negara (PGPN) UKM is a center at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) which implements the first genius and talented (GT) education program to meet the needs of GT students in Malaysia. UKM has been given the mandate to develop, implement and monitor this program which was launched on 3rd April, 2009. PGPN is led by Associate Professor Dr. Rorlinda Yusof as the Director. There are four (4) programs under PGPN, namely i) Talent Search & Management Program; ii) School Holiday Enrichment Program; iii) Secondary Education Program, Kolej GENIUS @Pintar Negara, UKM and iv) Pre-University Program, ASASIpintar UKM.
