We are very pleased to be hosting the World Association of Lesson Studies (WALS), its 10th Annual International Conference, at the University of Exeter, UK from September 3-5, 2016. This is the first time that the WALS conference has taken place in the UK and the second time outside Asia.It is expected that the conference will have between 600 and 1000 participants.
The conference theme is about:

This theme signals that the conference will be relevant to those interested in professional learning, initial teacher training and continuing professional development as well school improvement.
WALS 2016 really is a worldwide international event for researchers, educators, school teachers, those who work in collaboration with teachers (e.g. advisors, consultants, educational psychologists), policy makers and other scholars to share their knowledge with each other. We hope you will also find the various types of sessions and events interesting. These will cover topics of relevance, such as learning at school, early years, special needs and inclusive education, large-scale educational development: Learning Study, etc.

1. This is the first time the WALS conference has been held in the UK
2. The display area will be located at a central position at the conference venue in order to guarantee a maximum of traffic to your table.
3. We now offer more flexible sponsor packages for publishers which allow you to have brochures, pamphlets and other materials included in the conference bag and your logo on the conference bag and the WALS 2016 website.
4. Our delegates will be from a range of educational areas, as well as academics we expect to have a large number of practicing teachers and educational consultants.
