    AIMS

    1. To promote basic research on the Lesson Study and Learning Study (LLS). Particularly, we aim to:
    2. A) Examine and identify overall trends of research on LLS
    3. B) Identify the major underlying theories
    4. C) Examine the potential for the development of these theories

    POTENTIAL OUTCOMES 

    1. Raise the standard of research on LLS and stimulate research exchange with the international research community within WALS
    2. Raise the standard of research on LLS and stimulate research exchange with the international research community beyond WALS
    3. Provide an international spatiotemporal map of the basic theories of research on LLS
    4. Create a new generation of international researchers and new values about research on LLS
