WALS2012 has arranged for 6 exciting plenary sessions. These sessions will showcase paper presentations by academics and teacher educators from the Lesson Study field. These experts are representatives from various countries including the United Kingdom, the United States, Sweden, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand. These plenaries are platforms for the discussion of enduring issues pertaining to leadership, partnership, school reform, teaching, learning communities and students development in relation to Lesson Study. The 6 plenary sessions are:

4. Partnership to Sustain Lesson Study
5. Learning Communities and School Reform through Lesson Study
6. Developing Tools and Artefacts for supporting Lesson Study and Instructional Approaches
