This webinar aims to discuss the benefits and challenges of implementing lesson study in a new field based on two lesson study scholars’ (an early career researcher [ECR] and a veteran scholar) experiences of encountering and utilizing lesson study. Participants will learn how the lesson study scholars encountered lesson study, why they decided to utilize it in their fields, and what benefits and challenges they acquired and faced during its implementation. Through their experiences, participants will be able to reflect on their own pathway of doing lesson study and contemplate the conditions to implement lesson study in a new field effectively.
