The U.S. Department of State issues visas to foreign nationals traveling to the United States through its embassies or consulates. However, you do not need a visa for your business meeting or for vacation if you are a citizen of any of the 38 countries participating in the Visa Waiver Program. Please carefully review the requirements found on the website and allow sufficient time for your application to be processed.

The currency of the United States is the US Dollar ($USD).
The most common means of payment is credit cards and cash. Most stores accept Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, and American Express. Some establishments are cash only. Withdrawing money from an ATM is the cheapest way to exchange your money.
Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is prohibited in offices, hotels, public buildings, restaurants and bars. Some restaurants and most bars have a special smoking area.
Most attractions are open daily throughout the year. Banks are open from Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (some on Saturdays). Restaurant hours vary depending on their specialty. Shops set their own opening hours, but in general most will be open from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm.
