New Edition of Standard Handbook on Action Research

The international standard handbook on action research, Teachers Investigate Their Work, is now available in its third edition.

Drawing from studies carried out by teachers and other professionals, as well as from their own international practical experience, the authors – among them the two Austrian researchers Herbert Altrichter and Peter Posch – provide examples and details of practitioner research in multiple educational contexts from primary education to university training and beyond. The book contains crucial tools for action research and over 50 practical methods and strategies to put into action. It also includes an introduction to Lesson and Learning Studies.
